We'll visit Aix-en-Provence during one of its infamously charming market days. Known for its leafy boulevards, sunlit squares, and artistic soul, you’ll have time to wander through town, sip espresso at a sidewalk café, and immerse yourself in the charm that inspired Cézanne himself.

Kayak & Hike

With a local guide, we’ll hike the dramatic, pine-scented coastline and paddle through crystal-clear waters as we explore the iconic Calanques by sea — a rare and exhilarating perspective of this wild coastline.

Local Wineries

We'll experience the renowned local wineries for tastings that capture the essence of the region’s terroir. Expect crisp whites, fragrant rosés, and storytelling with every pour.

Marseille

Before the retreat begins, explore the fascinating city of Marseille for two nights. Included is a gourmet walking tour through the beloved Panier District, the oldest and most charming quarter of the city. With our incredible local guide leading the way, you’ll discover hidden corners, rich history, and authentic bites that showcase the true flavor of Marseille.

Then, for a dose of adventure, hop on an e-bike for a scenic ride to Les Goudes, a picturesque seaside village beloved by locals. Wind your way along dramatic coastal roads to the Baie des Singes, where you’ll cap off the journey with a laid-back seafood lunch at a beloved fish restaurant — the kind of place that doesn’t need a sign because everyone in the know already goes.

FAQs

We recommend you fly into Florence as it's a small, easy airport to navigate and well connected to the city center. It's also where we're all going to meet in Piazza Santa Maria Novella on the first day of the retreat for private transfer to the villa. Alternatively, you can fly into Rome and take a train to Florence.
Trainline is a great website for accurate train information and online bookings.
Yes, absolutely. We offer 'bijou' small, add-on itineraries for those who'd like to spend a few days in Rome, Florence, the Amalfi Coast on either end of the trip. Don't see what you're looking for? Yes. When you register and pay your 30% nonrefundable deposit, you can opt into setting up a payment plan.
Deposits are nonrefundable unless there's a waiting list and someone would like to take your spot. In the case we are able to sell your spot, you will be refunded your deposit, less £150 admin / transaction fees.
The full itinerary will be sent to you about a month prior to departure. If you have specific questions regarding the excursions, please do reach out to us.
