The Experience

An Intentional Journey Through the Winelands

This immersive residency, led by Kalin Sheick, is a curated dialogue between the Cape’s wild, botanical heritage and its refined, modern craft. We move with the seasons, trading the urban pulse of the city for the sun-drenched silence of historic valleys, where every day offers a new rhythm to follow. It is an invitation to slow down and savor—an intentional blend of high-design stays, panoramic mountain vistas, and the quiet luxury of choosing your own pace.

Botanical Grandeur & Heritage

Lose yourself in the sprawling greenery and prehistoric flora of Kirstenbosch, where the mountain meets the gardens in a symphony of indigenous beauty.

The Farm-to-Table Ritual

Indulge in a sensory morning within the Cape’s most iconic gardens, where the season dictates the landscape, followed by a refined estate lunch and an unhurried afternoon of village discovery and local curation.

Choose Your Own Adventure

Find your own rhythm—from an unhurried morning of quiet reflection to a scenic off-road expedition through rugged mountain vineyards, culminating in a panoramic wine tasting and a curated farm-to-table lunch.

The Accommodation

Cityscape and Countryside

Our journey begins at a sophisticated boutique hotel, a coastal sanctuary just moments from the pulse of the V&A Waterfront. From the city, we retreat to a historic eighty-acre estate where vineyards of Cabernet and Shiraz climb the rugged mountainside toward the clouds.

Just minutes from the charm of Franschhoek, our home for the week is a collection of beautifully appointed three-bedroom cottages. Each residence features a private master suite and an elegant upper-level room, all complete with their own ensuite bathrooms.

Tucked between ancient oaks and rows of vines, these spaces offer a secluded sanctuary for both shared connection and quiet reflection. With the village a stone’s throw away and the Drakenstein mountains as our backdrop, the estate serves as the perfect canvas for a week of slow, purposeful living.

Curated Boutique Stays

Step into the sophisticated charm of a Cape landmark, where iconic black-and-white courtyard aesthetics and refined, classic interiors offer a storied retreat in the heart of the city.

Restorative
Living Spaces

Retreat to the quiet elegance of refined forest duplexes, where high-beamed ceilings and sprawling vineyard views create an intimate sanctuary in the heart of the valley.
