We'll immerse ourselves in the natural beauty of sprawling vineyards and exquistely manicured gardens set against the backdrop of the majestic skyline.

The Experience
Journey Through the Winelands
Our journey begins at a sophisticated boutique Cape Town hotel, a coastal sanctuary just moments from the pulse of the V&A Waterfront. After exploring the District Six Museum, Kirstenbosch Gardens and heading up to the top of the iconic Table Mountain, we retreat to the countryside. There, we’ll stay at a historic eighty-acre estate where vineyards of Cabernet and Shiraz climb the rugged mountainside. Whether you're a garden enthusiast or simply seeking a serene escape with fun-loving folks, this trip promises an enriching experience that captures the essence of the Cape's unique blend of natural beauty, cultural heritage and world-class hospitality.
Botanical Grandeur & Heritage
Led by a local botanist, we’ll explore (on foot!) the sprawling greenery and prehistoric flora of Kirstenbosch, where the mountain meets the gardens in a symphony of indigenous beauty.
Babylonstoren Gardens
After a guided tour in the Cape’s most iconic gardens (if you know you know and if you don’t, you will be so happy to find out!), where the season dictates the landscape, we’ll enjoy a refined estate lunch and an unhurried afternoon of village discovery.
Regional Wine Tasting
During our countryside stay, we’ll tour three premier wineries that capture the best of South African grape varieties before enjoying a fantastic farm to table lunch, of course, with wine.

After one night in our boutique Cape Town waterfront hotel, we’ll head inland. On a wineland farm estate, just minutes from the charming town of Franschhoek, our home for the week will be in a collection of beautifully appointed three-bedroom cottages. Each residence features a private master suite and an elegant upper-level room, all complete with their own ensuite bathrooms. With the village just a stone’s throw away and the Drakenstein mountains as our backdrop, the estate serves as the perfect canvas for a week of slow, purposeful living.

Step into the sophisticated charm of a Cape landmark, where iconic black-and-white courtyard draped in bouganvilla and refined, classic interiors offer a plush retreat in the heart of the city.
Cape Winelands
Retreat to the quiet elegance of refined countryside cottages, where high-beamed ceilings and sprawling vineyard views create a truly relaxing backdrop for a warm winter’s escape. The location has a pool for guests’ use as well as lovely paths for walking.

Game Reserve
Experience thrilling ‘big five’ game drives with expert trackers and guides. Each day will begin and end with a game drive where we’ll have the chance to witness lions, elephants, rhinos and more in their natural habitat. Between safaris, relax at the spa or enjoy world class wine pairings or simply savor the sounds of the wilderness.

Yes, absolutely. When you book, there's an option to add two nights onto the beginning of the trip in Cape Town and an additional two nights at a game reserve.

This is an itinerary best enjoyed by those who are already quite active. Because at least 2 hours a day of walking will be required, and because it’s summer in Jan/February in South Africa, a certain degree of fitness is required. This trip would be most enjoyable for those who like to eat, laugh, walk, wine taste, wander gardens and explore. (Children not permitted.)

Yes. When you register and pay your 30% nonrefundable deposit, you can opt into setting up a payment plan.

Deposits are nonrefundable unless there's a waiting list and someone would like to take your spot. In the case we are able to sell your spot, you will be refunded your deposit, less £250 admin / transaction fees.
